1) Mumbai Mirror (2013):

The original film was a Tamil language thriller film directed by Mysskin and starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role. The remake, directed by Ankush Bhatt and starring Sushant Singh Rajput, was a critical and commercial failure.

2) Billu Barber (2009):

The original film was the Malayalam language comedy-drama film titled Kadha Parayumbol (2007), directed by M. Mohanan and starring Mammootty in the lead role. The Hindi remake, directed by Priyadarshan and starring Shahrukh Khan, was also a box office flop.

3) Eena Meena Deeka (1994):

The original film was a Tamil language comedy film directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar and starring Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth and Meena in the lead roles. The Hindi remake, directed by Indra Kumar and starring Rishi Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla, was a commercial success.

4) Coolie No. 1 (1995):

The original film was the Telugu language action comedy film titled Coolie (1983), directed by K. Vasu and starring Chiranjeevi in the lead role. The Hindi remake, directed by David Dhawan and starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor, was a box office hit.
