As the world learns more about Carlo Acutis as he was beatified Saturday, Oct. 10 in Assisi, here are some words of wisdom from this young man who died at the age of 15 from Leukemia. May we all learn from his example. Thanks be to God for this beautiful witness of faith, hope, and love.

17. “The Eucharist is the highway to heaven.”
As someone who builds websites, writes books, and loved video games as a kid, I have been fascinated by the life and witness of Blessed Carlo Acutis. This holy young man died only at the age of fifteen from leukemia.
In such a short life, he did so much to share his special devotion to Jesus in the Eucharist. Many who knew him during his lifetime grew closer to Christ because of his witness of faith. Many more will grow closer to God in the years ahead as they learn about him. Carlo was beatified on October 10, 2020. Carlo’s feast day is on October 12. He is only one more miracle away from being canonized a saint.
