Indulge Yourself And Relax At A Classical Music Concert
If you are new to classical music concert Orange County then you are in for a big treat. Right now I am in my apartment but there is a free classical music concert going on in the park across the road from me. It is absolutely magnificent and I have these soothing sounds seeping through my window. The scene looks beautiful down there, with the musicians on the stage and people lazing on the grass, on their picnic blankets, with food and drink, with children running around, moms and dads relaxing, older people on their deck chairs, and just an abundance of warmth and creativity. I am so lucky that I can see all of this from my apartment window but I am actually tempted to go and join the concert. It is a free concert – how beautiful is that?
Classical concerts around the city
There is never one season for choir concerts as they go on throughout the year, although some months are busier than others. Choir concerts are concerts that include classical music and choral singing. Some of these concerts are held in magnificent theatres, some are held in communal halls, school or church halls, I have been to one in the public library that was just extraordinary, and like this concert that I lucky enough to have on my doorstep, some in parks. The thing about classical and choral music is that it really is accessible to anyone. Classical music, and there is a misconception that you need to know the composers and know where they came from and which era they were, is something to love and not something to know. It is music that is soothing, welcoming and relaxing. If you learn about the composers as you go, that is a benefit but not a necessity. Like right now I think I am listening to Beethoven but it could be Mozart and I could have made both of those up.
Take the family
Music is something wonderful and it does not really matter which genre of music your family listens to. It is like reading; as long as you enjoy the words and get something out of them, there is no need to judge which words they are. The same goes for music. If you are a music lover then you can appreciate classical, the blues, rock and roll, jazz and even, although I struggle with it, heavy metal. Music is a very individual love but we do know that if you introduce your children and family to classical music, they will develop a love for this music for the rest of their lives.
